Mark was born in Chehalis, WA in 1955. He was raised in a rural environment and was attracted to art from his earliest days.

Mark has had previous affiliation with the Linda Farris gallery in Seattle and Laura Russo and Elizabeth Leach galleries in Portland, Oregon. In 1991 Mark won the Seattle Art Museum’s Betty Bowen Award.

Mark is currently represented by Ryan James Fine Arts in Kirkland, WA.

Mark lives in Olympia, Washington.
